hi, i'm the human behind the candles.

lucy lux started in 2021 as a creative little side project and somehow turned into a whole candle situation. if you're wondering where the name lucy came from, lucy was my dog who passed away the year i started making candles.

i make, pour, label, pack, photograph, market, and occasionally stare at every lucy lux candle wondering if i need to make another scent. everything is created in small batches right here in cape breton, nova scotia.

the goal has always been pretty simple: make candles that smell really, really good without making them look like every other candle on the shelf. i love colour, nostalgic scents, slightly ridiculous product names, cute packaging, and making everyday things feel a little more fun.

lucy lux candle company makes colourful, highly scented home fragrance for people who think their house should smell suspiciously good.

our collections are inspired by desserts, nostalgia, seasons, comfort smells, and whatever scent fixation is currently taking over the studio. from blueberry cheesecake and milk + cereal to pumpkin chai, toasted s'mores, and limited seasonal drops, the goal is to make fragrances that are fun to discover and even better to burn.
